On Sunday during an expedition to a known hotspot (this location has produced 5 clear sightings and numerous partial sightings, tracks, vocalizations, and other evidence), one of Jim’s trail camera’s captured the following photo (we believe that the green cast and blurriness were caused by condensation on the lens):
Here is the same photo, color adjusted in Photoshop:
It should be noted that the weeds in the center of the photograph are 30 to 40 inches high.
The following is the area in question blown-up:
After reviewing the evidence at the site, we believe that this photograph shows two young squatches as outlined in the following photograph:
This was in the area by the swamp where we found the small prints. Also, bear in mind that small squatches have been reported to be quadrupedal. We believe that the red outline is one sitting on its butt with its back to the camera, its arm extending into the weeds to the left and its head turned toward its sibling. Note the wide square shoulders.
The green one is standing on feet and hands, its front arms visible here. Its head is up and it is looking at the camera. This is a classic ape pose. Jim and his wife returned to the area and shot a video of her in the same place. The head of the green one would have come up to her chest, making the top of it’s head at about four feet. These are fairly large animals.
The following photo was taken about a month later of Jim’s wife at the same spot. A photo expert friend of ours added the creatures to this photo (actually a still from a video) for us from the original so that we could compare the size.
Edit: As requested, the following photo is a blown-up version of the previous composite image:
We do not believe that this is a bear, wolf, or mountain lion for several reasons. First, there are 2 bumps/heads. Neither have a snout nor ears. They are both domed. The green highlighted one is in a classic ape pose with the head over the arms. Any quadruped would have the head further right than this and the arms would not be straight.
We have been back to this area and there are no other items in this spot that could be these figures.
Now, I am certainly not saying that this is conclusive, it is in-fact a pair of blob squatches, but we think it is rather compelling. It should be noted that during this trip we heard child like sounds coming from the woods near here and Andy followed small footprints 2 miles into the bog.
We do not think these animals actually set off the camera, they are just out of it’s focal and trigger range. Whatever set off the camera is not in the picture and probably just passed through, likely to check out Jim’s trailer. We believe that the green one in the picture is actually looking at whatever it was that set off the camera.
