Bigfoot in Florida: Skunk Ape Sightings
By cryptid
The Florida Skunk Ape

The Skunk Ape is an elusive and mysterious beast often spotted in the swamps of Florida and other southern states. Like Bigfoot, the Skunk Ape walks on two legs, and is covered with thick brown or black fur. It’s a massive animal, sometimes reported as seven feet tall or better.

The skunk ape, also known as the swamp ape, Florida Bigfoot, stink ape, myakka ape, and myakka skunk ape is a hominid cryptid said to inhabit the southeastern United States, primarily Florida.  It's name is associated with the foul odor sometimes smelled when encountering it.  It is most likely just a sasquatch/bigfoot known by another name.

Video of a possible skunk ape foraging in a Florida Swamp.  For a stabilized version of the below video go here  http://sasquatchrese...aging-in-swamp/

Below is another good video of a possible skunk ape moving across a field.

The first video is a definite hoax.  I posted that just after it initially came out.  The video itself looks good, but the Florida BFRO uncovered the Lettuce Lake footage was a hoax by a group of serial hoaxers.  Matt, who claimed to capture that footage from a canoe is a band member with two other known hoaxers.   One, Justin Arnold, blitzed the media with a fake two headed alligator in the same general area of Florida.  Arnold is a Taxidermist and artist.  Another band member claimed to discover the two headed alligator while walking his dog.  These hoaxers were so stupid that all four legs of the alligator hovered above the ground.  They were too stupid to dig out from under the body of the fake alligator's body so the legs would touch the ground before taking the photos.

Arnold also made a painting of the Florida skunk ape that had the white skunk stripe before the alleged photo of that skunk ape was taken.  It is a spitting image of what it seems this taxidermist, Arnold, created.  The guy that got the Lettuce Lake video from his canoe is another member of that same rock band.  Lettuce Lake Park is a park in the middle of a metropolitan area.  This is a group of serial hoaxers, and although the video looks really good it is fake.

All of those hoaxes are in the same general area of Florida.  They did the fake two headed alligator, the skunk ape with the white skunk stripe and turned up apelike nose, and the next progression is the Lettuce Lake video.

It is a good hoax though.  Damn, the hoaxers are getting better.
