This video of a purported ape in a tree in a suburb of Los Angeles is most likely a leaf in the foreground. The article from the Sunday Express, June,2017 reads:
The pictures were snapped by Jake Gardiner. He said he felt something was watching him in the woodland area. He pulled out his phone out to capture the creature after feeling like he was being stalked.
Jake, who works near the woodland in La Crescenta in Los Angeles, US, told KTLA: “At first, I heard a bunch of strange noises in the trees. I figured it was just some types of bird or something like that.” And while at first he couldn’t see anything unusual, when he watched it a second time, he noticed the ape-like beast jumping through the branches. He added: “You can definitely see a torso and four limbs moving around and swinging around. It’s a pretty obvious kind of motion.”
Authorities from the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife believe the animal could be some kind of great ape which could pose as a serious danger to the public. Spokesman Andrew Hughan said: “We think that it’s a pretty good possibility that it is some kind of ape."
The "Sunday Express" (a U.K. publication) shows what the individual captured (left) and then posts a file photo from who knows where of one with a red circle around it (right), but they don't tell you its an unrelated file photo.
