Rick Dyre is a confirmed (and admitted) serial bigfoot hoaxer who has twice claimed to have a dead sasquatch body that turned out to be fake (in 2008 and again in 2014).   He has also made faked video.  Here is an article about more of his shenanigans, being arrested for eBay fraud, selling cars on eBay he didn't deliver but kept the money.

A San Antonio man is now facing charges, accused of defrauding four buyers on the popular online auction site, eBay.

Alleged victims in Houston, Austin, Arizona and Canada reported that 33-year-old Ricky Dyer took their money, but never delivered the items, or delivered them in very poor condition.

A purchaser in Canada claims he paid for two Corvettes that he never received. Elwood Nickason says he sent the money through Western Union to a San Antonio bank account in the name of Reyna Ochoa.
According to the affadavit, Dyer was working with a female accomplice who police say still has not been caught.

Investigators say they believe the couple travels back and forth between Texas and Tampico, Mexico.
Dyer was arrested and released on Wednesday after posting a $10,000 bond.

The video of a sasquatch seen by a man peeking out of his tent, circulated by Rick Dyer, is another of his hoaxes.

Although Rick Dyer didn't create this video.  It actually was a Minnow Films Hoax done as a publicity stunt. Rick did not create this footage, he just rode this footage to the end, This was was played out by a modern day Barnum and Bailey (Rick and Musky).  But it was Morgan Matthew's with Minnow Films and part of a publicity stunt for the film. Ricks part in the hoax was circulating this video.
