Slated to be in theaters before Halloween (Oct. 24, 2014), the maker of the "Blair Witch Project" is making a similar type film featuring a sasquatch.  He's big and he's bad.

Car on a stick.

What a calming feel that visual gives me.  So glad this is not some kind of horror show... :P

Or inverted tree on a car.

That is one of the stick structures associated with sasquatches.  They frequently stick inverted trees in cars like the photo below don't they?  :P

Or sometimes when there are no cars they just invert them in the ground, like we see at these websites

Alaska fields a peculiar phenomena of 1000 pound cedar trees that have been driven several feet into the ground root side up, rumored to be the work of sasquatches according to Alaskan natives.

Right...

I've heard of these inverted trees.  Seen a few internet photos.  Never in person.

I'd be curious as to the geography of where the inverted tree is found.

I'd be curious as to the geography of where the inverted tree is found.

This article says they are mainly found in the Western U.S., Canada, and Alaska.  Like in our discussion about Sasquatches camouflaging their hairy coats, they seem to have learned behaviors that are practiced regionally.  Alaska is where I've usually read them associated with inverted trees.

Different groups seem to have their own style of stick structures.  I didn't take photos of it because I wasn't sure if it was sasquatch related, but very close to where I made the casts of footprints in Oregon there are a lot of sticks leaned against trees.  In this one area they were all over the place, branches about 10 or 12 feet long.  I didn't take photos of it because it looked like it could be natural, where a limb fell out of the tree and landed next to it.  I didn't see any crossed sticks or structures of that nature like people often record.  But in retrospect I wonder if that was the style of this group.  I guess I need a squatch art critic to evaluate it.
