In early September of 2010, SRA-Jim captured a series of photos on his trail camera showing a possible sasquatch sneaking up to look at his camp. During our time at the camp, we had named the local sasquatch George, so when Jim saw these photos he dubbed them the “Curious George” photos. The following is an animated GIF showing a control photo followed by the five possible sasquatch photos:
On the Labor Day weekend of 9/4/2010, I (SRA-Jim) and some friends decided to spend the weekend in an area where some large tracks had been located previously. We had arrived in the area on Friday afternoon and made camps spread out throughout the area. I chose an area close to a road as I had my tow-behind, fish house with me. I was alone but had spoke to Andy, his son, and Kris about them sharing my fish house that night because they were going to arrive after dark and it would be easier then setting up camp in the dark. The area proved to be too close to the road as there was a great amount of traffic back and forth all night.
The next morning, I was determined to find an area that was less traveled. I set out driving the roads and found many locations that looked promising but I would have difficulty getting turned around with my 18-foot, fish house. I finally decided on an area which was a narrow road that had an intersection with a trail, kind of a Y if you will. I returned to the original spot and informed the others I was going to hook up and move. They decided to come with and check it out. When we got to the area, they then decided to give it a try and started setting up their tents and such. Meanwhile, I setup my fish house, deployed my trail cameras, and began to cut some dead trees for firewood for the upcoming evening with my chainsaw. While doing so, there happened by a number of ATV’s. It appeared that the Y was actually an ATV trail that turned off the main road. But there was not the heavy vehicle traffic so we decided to stay there. The others were pretty well set up when I shut off the saw and began to throw the cut wood to the road for stacking. They pitched in the task and the ATV’s continued to pass by in small groups. As we were throwing, and stacking firewood, I happened to look at my watch and noticed it was well after 11:00 AM which was the time we were supposed to be at another camp to have a meeting. I told the others we were late for the meeting, and they stated they didn’t know about the meeting. Being that we were out of radio range, I went to my truck to retrieve my cell phone, as it was on the charger. I called the meeting camp and told them we were sorry and that we would head there right away, which we did.
Later we returned and finished setting up camp. That night we had some coyotes howling to the south of camp. Then 3 of us caught some howls to the southeast of camp that were decidedly different then the coyotes. That was cool. Later we had noises that sounded like footfalls around the camp in the dark. Some sounded as if something was sneaking, others as if something larger was running past. During this trip, I had deployed 6 trail cams around the camp. When I returned home, I found out that I had over 6,000 photos to review. I set out to review the photos which was a tedious task. Most of the photos were from people around camp as well as the groups of wheelers passing through. I then noticed a strange movement in the middle of a series of photos on one camera (set at a five shot burst). I then contacted Andy and Kris and sent them copies. The following is what I found on those photos.
The following photos were part of a five shot burst, triggered by a passing ATV from 11:28:20 AM to 11:28:24 AM. Note that these photos serve as a control, showing the area just before the pictures with the possible sasquatch.
The following photos were from a five shot burst triggered by something moving in the woods, center frame between 11:29:47 AM to 11:29:51 AM (a minute and seventeen seconds after the ATV passed).

During a later trip to the area, we determined that the figure next to the tree is about seven feet tall.
In addition to the photos, Jim also recorded the following howls:
