I found these foot prints in a hot spot in Northern Minnesota back in 2008. They were very fresh when I found them at about 6:00 am. No one else was awake at the time. I began following the 9 inch prints deep into the bog, for about 2 miles. As I followed these prints, I would occasionally see larger prints (about 18 inches) intersecting the trail I was on. It was as if I was following the trail of a smaller individual and a large one was roaming the area, occasionally coming back to the trail where the little one was walking. Unfortunately, the prints do not translate well into photographs.
Later that weekend, we found the following track in another boggy area:
None of these tracks are conclusive and they could have been made by humans, but given the extremely limited access to the area I am 90% confident that there were no other humans in the area.
